FAQs

Where does the Gamefolio case hold game boards and what size boards will fit?

The game boards fit inside a special protective pocket within each Gamefolio. It can hold any board that folds down to fit within dimensions measuring about 13.5" x 11.5" x 1.25" inches.

Card Games: Does the Gamefolio work with card centric games?

The standard Gamefolio case can hold over 600 cards in 1 case. (That’s not even including the additional pockets on the inside of the Gamefolio flap which can hold another 100+.)

Here is how we did it: The removable 4”x4.25” clear zipper pouches can each hold over 50 cards. Each Gamefolio includes 6 but there is room enough that you can stack another 6 on those, possibly more. So 12 removable clear zipper pouches, each holding 50+ cards, is 600 cards. You'll need some additional zipper pouches with each standard Gamefolio to use this solution, so be sure to order additional for that. Alternatively you can use other cardholders as well so long as they aren’t too bulky to fit in the Gamefolio case.
You can probably add an additional 100+ by using the pockets on the inside of the Gamefolio flap as well, bringing the total to 700+ cards in each Gamefolio.

We are in the prototype phase of developing additional Gamefolio cases that can hold thousands of cards and are specifically geared toward card heavy deck building games with large expansion packs like Magic The Gathering, Dominion and others.

Do tabletop RPGs (Role Playing Games) work with the Gamefolio case?

Yes, the standard Gamefolio case works with a variety of tabletop RPG games.

The internal large pocket used for storing game boards is also a great pocket for standard RPG game books like:

* D&D player handbook 5e: 8.5 x 0.8 x 11.2 inches
* Traveler corebook: 11.2 x 8.7 x 0.6 inches
* Fate Core: 7.3 x 1.1 x 10.2 inches
* Savage World: 6.5 x 0.5 x 9.2 inches
* Dungeon World softcover: 6 x 1 x 9 inches (two will fit on the same layer)

It's important to note that the large Gamefolio pocket works for both standard letter size paper sheets and with European standard A4 paper sheets as well.

Letter Standard Paper Sheet Dimensions: (8.27in x 11in) A4 Format Dimensions: 210mm x 297mm (8.27in x 11.69in)

Miniature Games: Do Gamefolio Cases work for games with lots of miniatures?

Some smaller types of mini games work great with the current standard Gamefolio case, like "Chaos in the Old World", but larger minis will work better with our future mini specific Gamefolio options which are in development right now. These mini specific Gamefolios will be compatible with and fit in the Vault bag but they will be thicker to accommodate foam inserts or other options specifically suited to medium and larger minis.

What kind of materials are used in your products?

A lot of quality resources go into each of our products, both material wise and the actual labor involved.

The Vault bags and Gamefolio cases outer fabric is a high quality, durable 400D Nylon with Vinyl backing and a water repellant coating. This triple layer protection is very strong and highly water resistant.

Vault bags have additional padding of 1/4" foam on top, bottom and all sides. They also have a hard plastic, nylon encased, bottom insert as well as a soft nylon fabric interior.

Gamefolio cases protect your games with impact resistant EVA foam all around and a layer of hard plastic board on top and bottom.

Vault bags and Gamefolio cases also include a soft inner nylon lining.

The clear plastic pockets, pouches and removable zipper pouches are a durable clear PVC.

Our shoulder straps are made with high quality 2" seat belt material. The material is extremely strong and durable but smooth and soft to the touch for extra comfort. The hardware is metal and very durable.

All zippers are high quality and self healing.

Do Gamefolio cases have label holders?

Yes! Each Gamefolio has a label holder next to the handle so you can label each Gamefolio as needed. It is great for when you’ve got them stacked on a shelf or similar situation where you can’t see the cover. It works well for a name label as well.

What game boxes will fit flat inside the Vault bag?

This is a list of just some of the game boxes that fit inside the Vault bags middle main compartment. Let us know others we should add to the list based on their measurements and the Vault's measurements. (Note: Many of these work great with the Standard Gamefolio and no box as well but we have not been able to test them all that way at this time yet.)
