We've just received a status update on the progress of the rewards en route to our fulfillment centers. We have 5 fulfillment centers, one in each of the following locations; United States, Europe, Australia, Canada, China. In most cases, your rewards will ship from the fulfillment center closest to your region of the world.
In previous campaign updates we estimated the shipping delay was pushing delivery into mid-late January...however, the freight company has let us know that there was an additional delay in getting our shipment out due to this being their busiest time of year. This unfortunately will push our delivery window into February.
Based on the update from the freight company, here is the adjusted timeline estimates for reward delivery: (Backers in Asia should receive their rewards on a quicker timeline than the following)
We are deeply disappointed with the news from the freight company but are excited to be into the delivery phase of the project. We've worked hard on this idea for over 2 years now and are confident that when you receive your rewards, the wait will have been worth it.
We will continue to keep a close eye on the shipping and delivery phase of the project and keep you updated. We are also doing all we can to see if anything else can be done to speed up any portion of the delivery process from here.
Bringing an idea like this to life for the first time has been an incredible and, at times, very difficult process. It's been a roller coaster ride of highs and lows, pains and triumphs. We've learned a lot through this process that will make us even better in the future.
